Reporting a problem

The most useful report tells us:

A screenshot can help, but only include photos or reports when necessary.

Keeping a restorable copy

Export an inspection ZIP and keep it outside the app. Check that the ZIP opens and contains the material you need before deleting or reducing local storage. A PDF is a report; use the inspection ZIP when you need to restore an inspection.

Checking scanned values

Compare recognised codes and text with the source image. Small, damaged or reflective markings can be misread. Adjust focus, lighting and framing, then try again if needed.

Technician profiles

In single-user mode, choose your primary technician or None without an app PIN. Shared-device mode lets each technician unlock their own profile with a private app PIN. The primary technician is a default identity, not an administrator role.

To add a technician, tap Add technician. When required, the iPhone owner approves first, then the new technician enters their name and app PIN on a separate screen. Approval covers one profile and expires after five minutes. Cancelling or leaving setup discards the draft.

Technician app PINs are separate from the iPhone passcode. Once shared use has been configured, owner authentication is required to change the primary or manage profiles, even when shared mode is off. Switching profiles affects new findings; existing attribution stays unchanged.

Accessibility feedback

Larger text and VoiceOver have received preliminary checks. Further testing with experienced assistive-technology users is welcome. With VoiceOver enabled, use the selection box’s named edge and position controls and swipe up or down to adjust; direct selection dragging is unavailable.
